Hey guys! We’d like to wish you all a belated Happy New Year. It’s not too far into January yet; I reckon it’s still okay to say that. We would have published this post sooner, but the festive season got by us way too fast. By the time we were just getting over New Year’s, the rhythm and flow of daily life had taken over once again, and our heads were busting with ideas and anticipation for 2017.
Nonetheless, we thought we’d take a moment to say thank you to everyone who helped make 2016 a great one for Airium. The world may have had it’s ups and downs, but we’ve had a pretty awesome time making videos, getting to meet new people, hear new music, explore fun ideas and push ourselves to the limit.
January 2016 kicked off with our second music video for Furian, ‘What’s Up’, which demanded our largest team presence yet and drew attention to a pretty important issue. (Watch more of the action in our behind-the-scenes.)
We also released our third Chasing Infinity video – ‘4:37’ and met relatively new band Evoss, for whom we filmed their debut music video ‘Reflections’ using a warehouse and a beautiful Liverpool penthouse.
We loved meeting alternative rockers Shot of Hornets, whose video for ‘On Thin Ice‘ we had an awesome time shooting. In August we knocked out another video for Chasing Infinity for their track ‘Debris’, where we worked with talented 9-year old dancer Ellie Jo.
And more recently, we filmed a video for Liverpool indie guys Red Rum Club and their upcoming single ‘Alone Together’, coming along soon in 2017…
And finally, we created two new showreels – one to showcase our latest work and another to boast what we get up to behind-the-scenes. If you haven’t checked them out yet, do go take a look and share with any muso-friends you have.
As great as 2016 was, we’re confident 2017 is going to be even better. Whatever you’re looking for – be it a music video, commercial film or photoshoot – we want to know! Get in touch and talk to us about your idea. Let’s make 2017 our best year yet!
